One of the first group buying deals aggregator in South Africa was AllDeals, which started in early 2011 and literally just popped up on a very basic website, which has grown slowly into an impressive online resource for deals, with a Facebook Page of over 4,000 fans and a Google PageRank of 4. According to Alexa, in August 2011, they had Internet traffic similar to Men’s Health SA (online magazine).
Even with this good start, there are many other aggregators now, like Dealafrica.co.za and AllDeals will need to work hard to keep ahead of the pack. Cleverly, AllDeals has added advertisements to their site to bring in extra revenue, as well as installed a “subscribe to the deals” section for each city in South Africa.
As AllDeals mentions on their About section on their website:
AllDeals is a deal tracker for local group buying websites in South Africa. We list all the group buying deals in all the major cities in South Africa from all the major daily deal group buying websites. Instead of having to visit each group buying website to find local deals, AllDeals makes it possible to find all the deals on offer in your city, in one place.
This is nice group buying aggregator, proof of which can be found in the fact that Dealzone purchased them in 2012. Here’s a look at the website itself:

Hi,
We are a new daily deal site in South Africa and have launched only in Cape Town for the time being. Could you please let me know what your approximate database reach is and how we go about featuring on your site.
